Banana Shine

Today, we also did a tutorial on how to make things look like they are on a shiny surface.  I used the banana for mine, and it ended up looking good! It was a pretty simple tutorial so it was pretty easy, but useful, I learned how to use a more things in Photoshop.

X-Ray

Today we finished up our X-ray project! This was a really cool one.  So we took pictures of ourselves holding up a frame and then stuck a picture of a skeleton and made it look all x-ray ish.  Then we made it look like something was stuck inside of us.
As a big Spongebob Squarepants watcher, I had to put Squidward's clarinet in there, and Sandy's submarine that they used in one of the episodes where Squidward got the clarinet stuck inside of him.  And then Spongebob used the submarine to get it out of him.  I thought this was a clever idea and it looks pretty cool too!
I think this was a very successful project, even though I had to redo things multipule times... it worked out in the end!

Colorized Tardis

This project was on learning how to "colorize" photos in photoshop.  We got to pick our own picture, so of course, I chose the famous Tardis from the show Doctor Who.  We learned how to blend layers and things like that.. it was a pretty easy project actually. So yeah, I think it looks awesome and I would do this again...

Cartoon

In this project, we had to have a background, a picture of yourself, and a cartoon. (Or two :) So I picked the beach as my background because I wanted to have a Little Mermaid sort of theme. Then I got a picture of myself somewhat in a position where I could hold a crab.  Then we took the cartoon we chose and we had to overlap body parts and such. I had Sebastian in my hand and sort of had his legs and my hand overlapping. I also tried to make the colors each picture match so that each picture had different lighting and stuff, but overall, I think it looks pretty good!

Splatfant

This next project I did was called: Splatfant... get it? We worked in photoshop once again, and used any animal we wanted and a pattern to put on top of the animal, and make it look like it's really there.  So I went with the elephant and splatter, and that's what it turned out to be. It was a pretty easy project but I think it looks pretty cool.

Frog Tongue

This was our second project on Photoshop, and it was interesting... We had to take a picture of a frog and put it on the tongue of the person in this picture.  It's not my best work, I liked doing the pancakes better and you can sorta see the line where I attached the frog to the tongue, but it's the best I could do.  So we attached the frog, and then we used the copy brush thing to make the frog look like a tongue.  And we added a shadow and did some other things as well. But it's pretty cool!

Angry Pancakes

It is my sophmore year of high school now, and this year, instead of being in art class, I'm taking Computer Art and Animation.  This was our first project, and we used photoshop to make these pancakes look angry...
First, what we did was we took the pancake picture, and spread the pancakes out until there was a big.. hole thing in the middle.  Then we took this picture of a fish, and cropped, so we would only have the mouth on that layer. Then we made it fit and look good on the pancakes, and we did a few other things to touch it up.
I think this was a pretty good first project!
